Chief Judge Gary C. Giguere Jr. of the Kalamazoo County 9th Circuit Court and Chief Judge Kathleen P. Hemingway of the Kalamazoo County 8th District Court will host a "State of the Courts" event where they will be discussing updates on all the changes happening in the courts (new courthouse, new circuit court judgeship, etc.)

The event will be 12/17/24 at 12:00 in the Kalamazoo Room at the Pratt Justice Center.

The KCBA’s Fall Memorial Service will take place December 13, 2024, at 3:30 PM in the Judge Charles A. Pratt Justice Center (Courtroom TBD).

Please join us on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. for the KCBA Fall Fest at the Kalamazoo Country Club. Drinks and heavy appetizers will be provided.

This event is open to the entire legal community. There is no cost to KCBA members. For non-KCBA members, there will be a $20 fee that can be paid upon arrival. If you are interested in membership please contact the KCBA at info@kalamazoobar.org

Bar passers are invited to sign up to be admitted to the practice of law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

Chief Judge Gary Giguere, Jr. of the 9th Circuit Court and Chief Judge Scott W. Dales of the United States Bankruptcy Court Western District of Michigan will preside.

The KCBA will host a reception immediately following the ceremony at the Kalamazoo Country Club in conjunction with the KCBA’s Fall Fest
