Danielle Mason Anderson
Danielle Mason Anderson is a Managing Director at Miller Canfield and the resident director of the global law firm’s Kalamazoo office. As a senior principal attorney in Miller Canfield’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group, Anderson assists clients with all pre- and post-judgment remedies including receiverships, the sale of collateral, foreclosures, repossessions, evictions, debt sales and debt restructures. Her practice has a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and creditors rights resolution with a concentration on loan enforcement, insolvency, bankruptcy and receiverships.
Anderson is on the Board of Directors for Southwest Michigan First, an economic development organization that serves Kalamazoo and neighboring counties. She also serves on the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home Foundation and Kalamazoo Institute of Arts boards of directors, and volunteers with the Kalamazoo County Child Abuse and Neglect Council and Habitat for Humanity. She is the District F Commissioner for the State Bar of Michigan, representing her colleagues in Southwest Michigan. She has served as chair of the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section, and as an Executive Council Member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association.
James “Chip” Falahee
James “Chip” Falahee is Senior Vice President, Legal & Legislative Affairs for Bronson Healthcare Group. He has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare law and legislation and has been named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in health care. He is a frequent speaker about health care policy and reform. Mr. Falahee is a founding member, past president and a Fellow of the Health Care Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and past president of the Michigan Society of Hospital Attorneys. Prior to joining Bronson in 1987, he was in private practice with the law firm of Dykema Gossett.
He is one of two hospital representatives on the state’s Certificate of Need Commission and currently serves as Chairman of the Commission. He is a board member of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association. Mr. Falahee is a member of the Board of Directors of 340B Health and serves on its Audit Committee, Executive Committee, and Nominating Committee, and is chair of its Government Relations Committee.
Craig H. Lubben
Craig H. Lubben is a Managing Member of Miller Johnson. He practices out of the Kalamazoo, Michigan office primarily in the area of civil litigation and employment litigation. He is focused on representing business entities, executives, medical professionals, and other individuals in commercial disputes in state and federal courts and in various alternative dispute forums. Mr. Lubben earned his law degree, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from Calvin College.
Mr. Lubben was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to the Attorney Discipline Board and served from 2008 to 2014. He has served as President of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association and served on both the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly and Board of Commissioners. Mr. Lubben has been named in “The Best Lawyers in America®” in eight distinct practice areas. He has served in leadership positions on the Board of Directors of many community organizations including Family and Children Services, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, and the Kalamazoo Christian School Association. He is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Calvin College.
